From September 17 to 19, 2019, as part of the maritime ORSEC (organization of civil security response) system, the maritime prefecture of the Channel and the North Sea organised, in coordination with the prefecture of Calvados, a major training exercise. assistance to a vessel in difficulty (ANED) and maritime pollution response (POLMAR). This exercise took place off Caen / Ouistreham. Numerous nautical and aerial means, state and private, were committed in order to perfect the operational preparation of all the actors in the most realistic conditions possible.
