Croatia

In the context of the NAMIRG project, to fight fire incidents on board of ships at sea, and limiting their effects in close basins such as the Northern Adriatic Sea, the final exercise in NAMIRG Pula 2019 was an opportunity to test the newly trained and specially equipped transnational team of 27 fire-fighters from Croatia, Italy and Slovenia.

The final exercise, which consisted of the rescue of a ship following a simulated fire incident, was an opportunity to showcase what had been achieved during the lifetime of the project, paving the way for more transnational cooperation and efficient emergency response to incidents on-board at sea.
