Exercise RAMOGEPOL 2014

The exercise was organised by the Italian Ministry of the Environment in cooperation with the Governments of France, Italy, Monaco and Spain. The exercise was arranged within the framework of the RAMOGEPOL Agreement (France, Italy and Monaco, Spain). The overall aim of this exercise was to train the participants to manage a major pollution at sea in close cooperation with the neighbouring countries and EMSA. The objectives of the exercise were to test the alarm procedures, and the response time and capability of the RAMOGEPOL Plan and EMSA participating units to deal with oil pollution at sea.
