The aims of the exercise were to test response arrangements/plans to maritime pollution incidents in Dyfed Powys as well as testing the primacy/interaction between the MCA National Contingency Plan & the CCA. The scenario revolved around a collision between an oil tanker and a container ship just off the Pembrokeshire Coast (Wales, UK), Atlantic Regions' Coastal Pollution Response and Preparedness.
