The objective of this exercise was to train the participants to manage a major event at sea in close cooperation with neighbouring countries and EMSA, test the alarm procedures, the response time and capability of the Bonn Agreement Contracting Parties and EMSA participating units to deal with oil pollution at sea.

The exercise was performed off the North coast of France, with a starting point at Anchor off the Port of Calais, 30 September 2014. This large-scale, oil pollution response exercise in the Channel area, organised by France annually, and is part of the organization defined by the ORSEC Maritime system.
