This was a joint SASEMAR – EMSA exercise. A Notification Exercise took place on 24 September 2013. The overall aim of this exercise was to test the performance of the participating units including crews, to reinforce cooperation between SASEMAR and EMSA during oil recovery operations and to verify the functionality and preparedness of the pollution response equipment.
