HELCOM BALEX DELTA Exercise 2021_Video

The Finnish Border Guard with its partners organised the international HELCOM BALEX DELTA 2021 exercise on 24-25 August. This was the first time the Finnish Border Guard was leading such an extensive and multinational marine pollution response exercise in Finland. The exercise is a part of the Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission (HELCOM) measures on response to spills and maritime incidents. The BALEX exercise is organized annually in different parts of the Baltic, with each country taking turns to organize and lead the event. This year’s exercise was hosted by Finland.
